My Story

I became a counsellor in Leckwith, Cardiff, or online because I wanted to give back to others. Having experienced various issues in the past, I know how important it is to have someone there to support you in low moments. Nobody should ever be alone, and everyone deserves a chance to be heard and seen. That is why I will never charge high prices for sessions; nobody ought to be priced out of therapy.

I am a fully qualified experienced Counsellor and Registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).

What Others Say

“I found each session targeted, without being prescriptive. I felt I had the freedom to look at my needs, and wasn’t steered in a particular direction, but was gently guided through the issues and the things I wanted to work on. I suppose I felt in control of what we discussed and my therapy, whilst feeling I had someone I could trust with my thoughts and feelings. Carys was always gentle and never pushed me too far. I felt safe and able to open up. I am extremely pleased with what we achieved in the sessions, and very grateful to have found the right person to help me.”

“Carys gave me the tools and advice to be able to revaluate the way I looked at past and existing relationships.”

“Carys was very understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. She put me at ease from the very first session. This helped me to be very open and honest and therefore able to get to the source of my problems quite quickly. My confidence therefore grew week on week.”

I am here to give you a private, friendly, non-judgmental space to explore the issues you are facing, such as depression, anxiety, or problems with sex and relationships. For more information on how to get started with counselling in Leckwith, Cardiff, and online, give me a call.
